This past Monday my Mom and I left for Vacation! She got up at 3:30am and I got up about 3:45am we were very excited to get our vacation started !  We got to CAK with no problems we boarded our plane and a member of the staff yelled”We have a problem” and that’s when our vacation turned super fun ! One of the security seals on the plane was broken ! We sat on the plane as our departure time came and went. Then the airport decided the best way to handle our problem was to take everyone off the plane and make us go through security again with all our stuff . We were wand-ed , and patted down as all of our carry-ons were searched. Our main concern at this point was making our connectingflight in Detroit , they had no other flights to put us on so if we missed our flight in Detroit we would not make our cruise ship in Miami ! Our total time stuck in CAK was about 2 hours !   We boarded the plane again and took  off for Detroit. We landed and had 15 minutes until our next flight was to take off for Miami. Well Detroit had a security issue too and all  planes were grounded and  the security gates were down making us stuck in an underground tunnel. Once the gates were lifted we made it to the last call of our flight ! We felt from here our trip could only get better ! We landed in Miami at  about 12:15pm . We went to collect our bags , and we found out we had no bags to collect ! The airline had lost our bags but didn’t know where they lost them. We went to file a report about our missed bags and at about 3pm we left the airport for our cruise ship with no luggage. The airline had told us our luggage would be waiting for us in Nassau ,Bahamas the next day . The next day the ship called the airline and they still had no idea where our bags were . So we spent a nice chunk of change and time in Nassau buying clothing and toiletries. The next day we had to buy clothes on the ship because we got stuck in a rain storm on the ships private island in the Bahamas . The next day we  pulled into Key West ! We were both very excited to see sunny Key West ! It was thunder-storming when we got there , with very heavy down pours of rain .  On Friday morning we departed the ship and headed to MIA where we found out our luggage had been since Tuesday they never called to tell us it was there and when we called them they said they had no idea where it was . They never said sorry and I only got a little under $100 for my lost bags .
